He was also personally invited by Frank Sinatra to record a duet.

He has always stayed true to his culture and refuses to record in English. He did not feel the need to conform and has proved that he still be very successful, even when performing in Spanish in predominately English speaking countries such as America.
Miguel feels that it is important for him to believe in his music in order for his audience to really feel it.  He still has sell out shows, with record numbers attending. This shows that Miguel is still very relevant within the current market. Luis Miguel his ability to blend various genres of music, from pop through to mariachi, this is what makes him one of the most successful Latino artists of this generation. Luis Miguel, Caribbean 1st absolutely salutes you.
