Joseph H. Lake Jr is an author and leading political scientist. He appears regularly as a political commentator on radio and TV. Lake Jr, started as a columnist and associate editor with Windward Islands Opinion in the 1970s. Six years later he founded Windward Islands Newsday. In the 80s it was published in Spanish.
Joseph H. Lake Jr., was the President of the independence for St. Martin foundation. Where he championed the independence option for the two Constitutional referenda in St. Martin in 1994 and 2000.
